Our history is an iron clad Jersey legend, forged from serving the island’s people and businesses for generations. Formed way back in 1851, we’re one of Jersey’s oldest and most established businesses. Yet, despite our endeavours to use the latest technologies to continuously modernise, the service and focus on our customers that comes from being family owned has never really changed.
Simply put, we value local needs and requirements above all else. By ensuring that each and every individual and business we work with experiences that same personal, friendly touch, we form lasting relationships that keep our friends coming back every time.

We’ve invested heavily in the very best technology and machinery, honing our trade with the most modern techniques to ensure our recycling operation is the very best it can be. If you pay a visit to our depot at La Collette, you’ll discover innovative, state of the art machinery that ensures the islands metal waste is dealt with responsibly.
We’re constantly moving forward, and love to be able to introduce new ways to increase recycling options in the island. Most recently, this meant expanding the metals we take, with new machines enabling us to introduce steel to our range in 2017.
Today, recycling has never been so important. The world is moving forwards, towards a more sustainable future, where much more consideration is given to the way that resources are used and reused. We’re proud to play our own part in that, and help fellow islanders and businesses do the same.
Our mission is to make it as easy, convenient and - yes - profitable as possible for you to recycle your scrap metal. To do this, we’ve done the work behind the scenes to cut red tape, making it far easier for our Jersey traders to deal with us. We are regulated by the Jersey Environmental Department, while demonstrating our commitment to protecting the island’s precious natural environment by holding a range of licences to ensure this always is, and remains, true.
